About El Venadito
EL VENADITO, TEXAS. El Venadito, also known as Venadito, is off U.S. Highway 281 twenty-one miles west of Brownsville in southwestern Cameron County. Venadito means "little deer" in Spanish. Dr. Henry Weaver settled in this area around 1848 after purchasing 555.55 acres from Ascension Garza de Alcala and Laurena Garza. The land is located on what was the Concepcion de Carricitos Spanish land grant.
This purpose of this site is my attempt to document the descendants of Dr. Henry Weaver. It is by no means complete, and I'm sure there may be errors within. Please let me know if there is anything missing or incorrect so I may make the appropriate changes. Thanks for visiting.

Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
